License Info, Instructions, and Suggestions

License Information

-This tuner has an MIT open-source license, displayed at the bottom of this page. It incorporates trusted pitch detection software to deliver you the most accurate results possible. Besides the actual pitch detection component, the rest of the interface was designed by Jacob Shur.

Instructions,

-First, allow the tuner to connect to your device’s microphone.

-The On button must be checked.

-Ensure you have a solid Wi-Fi or Cellular Data connection.

-Turn your Bluetooth off, so that it does not affect the responsiveness.

-Choose a scale to be displayed for reference, then start playing and seeing your sound.

Suggestions,

-Practice scales slowly and see if you can “paint” every note correctly.

-Be loud enough with a full tone so that the mic can hear you.

-Practice building chords, one note at a time, to see the construction visualized .

-Train intervals by repeating the notes  over and over again to see if the colors stay consistent.

-Practice actual pieces and songs slowly, under-tempo, to see what the music looks like colorized.
