Expectations for..

Teacher (myself): I will aim to create a nurturing learning environment in every lesson. I expect to focus on guiding each student towards violin mastery. I will use the lesson time to effectively navigate each step of the violin learning process, as well as the core elements of music. I will communicate with parents about healthy violin habits. Above all, my goal is to allow the violin to become an expressive outlet for my students, one that guides them towards becoming excellent human beings.

Students: Believe in yourself. Practice daily. Breathe. Be cooperative. Take care of your instrument. Be ready to have fun and play lots of games. Understand that struggles are a part of the learning process. Be yourself, stay positive, and try your best.

Parents/Guardians: Embrace the Suzuki Method! Help create a musical way of life by  observing lessons, creating home practice routines, and encourage listening to the music. Be aware that becoming an expert musician is a way of life and setting up a musical environment is the key to success. Prioritize time for violin practice every day.

These expectations encourage a long-term commitment to excellence, one simple learning step at a time.
